Abstract
The navigation on inland water courses in Hungary is regulated by the Regulation of Navigation published in the Annex of this Decree. The First Chapter of the Regulation is based on the rules accepted by the Danube Committee on 25 April 1990. Besides the general regulation of navigation, this Decree prohibits the pollution of water courses, it rules the transportation of hazardous substances, the recreational water use, timber floating and the use of transboundary water courses (Annex n.13 of the Regulation of Navigation).
