Decree No. 444 of 2012 (XII. 29.) Korm of the Government on end-of-life vehicles.

This Decree applies to vehicles, including spare parts and other materials, and to end-of-life vehicles. It provides rules regarding consumer information, obligations of the producer and the transfer of his obligations, rules concerning the owner of end-of-life vehicles, their transport, collection and treatment. The distributor, the salvage yard and collector must keep a register according to the content of Annexes 1-3 and report on their activity once a year. Tasks of the authorities, official controls and sanctions are foreseen as well.
