Abstract
This Decree must be applied together with Regulation 689/2008/EC of the European Parliament and the Council concerning the export and import of dangerous chemicals. With this Decree, the Government appoints as competent national authority: the National Food Chain Safety Office in case of phytosanitary products and production increasing substances, and the National Public Health Institute in case of industrial chemical substances and products. Article 4 contains rules regarding the National PIC Commission.
