Regulation (EC) No. 689/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the export and import of dangerous chemicals.

This Regulation sets out rules and principles governing the import and export of dangerous chemicals and lays down provisions to facilitate the exchange of information concerning the characteristics of such chemicals, with a view to ensuring the environmentally sound use of hazardous chemicals. These provisions are adopted in implementation of the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade.
