Circular Letter of Director General of Forestry Business No. SE.14/VI-BPPHH/2014 on the application of Timber Legality Verification Systems as a Follow-Up Action No. P.43/Menhut-II/2014 of Permenlhk No. P.95/Menhut-II/2014).

This Circular Letter establishes the Timber Legality Verification Systems as a Follow-Up Action of No. P.43/Menhut-II/2014 and Permenlhk No. P.95/Menhut-II/2014). Timber Legality Verification System (SVLK) is a system that guarantees the sustainability of forest management and/or timber legality and traceability through certification of sustainable production forest management (PHPL), as well as timber legality certification (LK) certification and supplier conformity declaration (DKP). Based on the evaluation of SVLK implementation, it is necessary to simplify and provide convenience for small and medium industries in implementing SVLK. In relation to the above, the Ministry revised some regulations related to SVLK for the smooth implementation of the Circular Letter of the Director General of Forest Business Development.
The objective is to provide a clearer understanding in applying the legislation for SVLK implementation. The scope are: Holders of IUPHHK-HA/HT/RE and Concession Holders; Holders of IUPHHK-HKm/HTR/HD/HTHR, IPK; Holders of IUIPHHK, IUI, TDI, and Non-Producer ETPIK; Owners of Artisanal Industries, TPT and Private forest; LP&VI (LPPHPL and LVLK).
