Abstract
This Regulation provides for the regulation of quarantine areas, designation and installation of quarantine areas, competencies of quarantine officers, etc. Any carrier entering the indonesian territory or to be exported shall have a Health Certificate issued by a quarantine officer. Quarantine actions shall be performed on any carrier entering or transiting in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. Quarantine actions mean inspection, isolation, observation, treatment, detention, destruction, etc.(Chapter III). The Ministry has the right to determine a fish quarantine zone and has the responsibility to control and prevent the spreading of pests and diseases. Chapter VII provides for competencies of quarantine officers and the establishment of quarantine installations.
