Government Regulation No. 33/2007 on safety of ionizing radiation and security of radioactive sources.

This Government Regulation provides for the control of emitted ionizing radiations, for the prevention of illegal access, loss, theft and or illegal evacuation of radioactive sources, and for the control in the exploitation of nuclear energy.
The Regulation lays down obligations and responsibilities of holders of licences for the exploitation of nuclear energy. These obligations include: carrying out health monitoring on workers; fulfilling conditions of radiation protection; fulfilling technical conditions; conducting safety verification; conducting security actions against radioactive sources.
An inspector of nuclear safety shall be responsible for checking facilities exploiting nuclear energy and monitoring radiations in the facilities. Administrative sanctions are also provided in the text.
