Abstract
This Government Regulation amends the Government Regulation Number 4 of 2016 regarding importation of livestock and animal products in certain cases. Amendments concern: Ministerial power to allow State-owned enterprises to import livestock and animal products; special requirements to be fulfilled by other business actors interested in livestock and animal products importation; issuance of business licences; power of the Minister of Trade to propose additional quotas and allocation of animal products to be imported, in order to ensure price stabilisation and supply of products; introduction of a new chapter concerning monitoring of commitments and activities of State-owned enterprises and business actors involved in trade; administrative sanctions.
