Abstract
This Regulation amends the Government Regulation no. 45 of 2005 on establishment, management, supervision and dissolution of State-owned enterprises, in order to optimise the role of these enterprises as development agents in supporting the national economy, through strengthening their institutions, organs and resources. Amendments concern: insertion of new paragraphs on appointment and revocation of board of directors’ members; insertion of new articles requiring the board of directors, and the supervisory board to comply with the constitutional provisions, while performing their duties; reasons for dismissal of a member of the board of directors; ministerial powers to dismiss Directors; measures on banning commissioners and members of supervisory board from becoming politicians; measures on appointment and revocation of commissioners and board of supervisors’ members; rights and obligations of State owned enterprises’ workers and compliance with the legislative and constitutional provisions; provisions on workers’ retirement.
