Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia regarding environmental impact assessment (No. 51 of 1993).

Article 2 lists businesses and activities that may have a significant impact on the environment. An environment impact statement ("ANDAL") shall be prepared for these type of operations. The significance of impact shall be determined on criteria listed in article 3. Final operating permits shall be granted only after implementation of environmental management plan and environmental monitoring plans (art. 5). Articles 7 to 14 concern procedures of ANDAL and the plans mentioned. Documents shall be submitted to the responsible Environmental Impact Assessment Commission ("AMDAL") established under articles 17 and 18. (29 articles)
