Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation amends several provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Forestry No P.30/MENHUT-II/2014 concerning Periodic Comprehensive Forest Inventory and Work Plans for Utilisation of Timber Forest Products, in order to manage and protect peat working areas, protect ecosystems and support biodiversity conservation and water management. Matters covered by this Regulation include: business permit granted to utilise timber forest products in plantation forests, marketing and harvesting activities; work Plans for socio-economic development of local community; land clearing; forest management unit; drafting of the map of forest working areas; pollution control and monitoring on environmental damage; utilisation of forest resources and non-timber forest products; changes in silvicultural systems; agroforestry activities.
