Regulation of the Minister of Forestry no. P.8/Menhut-II/2014 about limitation of the area of business license for the utilisation of timber forest products in natural forest, industrial plants or ecosystem restoration in production forests (IUPHHK).

This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 8 articles and based on the provision of article 31 of the Forestry Act no. 41 of 1999, intends to regulate the limitation of business permits for the utilisation of wood forest and its products in industrial plantation forests, ecosystem restoration and natural forests, considering both aspects of forest and business sustainability. The following relevant terms are defined: production forest; utilisation of wood forest products; extensive limitation; business permits. The Regulations focuses on aspects of forest sustainability, including: environmental sustainability; production sustainability and implementation of fair, equitable and transparent social and cultural functions in partnership with local communities. The Regulation specifies criteria and conditions for granting Utilisation of Timber Forest Products Permits (IUPHHK).
