Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation amends the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Number 37/PERMEN-KP/2019 concerning Residue Control in Consumption Fish Cultivation Activities, in order to improve the assurance of quality, safety, and consumer health of fish products, to comply with the requirements of importing countries regarding residue control in fish farming activities for human consumption, and to ensure sustainability of fish resources and the environment. The Regulation defines the following terms: residue; residue control; residue monitoring; Fish medicine; contaminants; fish farming; residue control management information system. Matters covered by this Regulation include: content of the National Residue Monitoring Plan; minimum requirements for water sampling and analysis; packaging and labelling of fish product and level of contaminants and permitted substances; concentration of fish medicines in water in aquaculture premises.
