Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries no. 37/PERMEN-KP/2019 of 2019 concerning Residue Control in Consumer Fish Cultivation Activities.

This Ministerial Regulation concerns the control of residues in fish cultivated for human consumption, through monitoring, investigation and corrective actions. The Regulation defines: residue monitoring, as the activity to get data and information about the level of fish medicines and other contaminants in fish and fish products; residue, as accumulation of fish medicines, contaminants, chemicals in fish; fish medicine; contaminants; fish farming; fish, as all the organism whose the whole or part of their life cycle is inside aquatic environment; maximum residue limit, as the maximum concentration limit of a substance permitted on farmed fish; minimum laboratory performance limit. Matters covered by this Regulation include: preparation of a National Residue Monitoring Plan; water sampling activity; screening test for fish samples; monitoring and observation activity concerning: feed usage management system, potential external waste originating from agriculture and household, fish health management system.
