Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation amends some provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Marine and Fisheries No. PER.30/MEN/2012 concerning capture fishing business within the State fisheries management of the Republic of Indonesia, which has been amended by Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Number 26/PERMEN-KP/2013, in order to realise responsible management of fishery resources and prevention from Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing in the State. The Regulation defines the relevant terms, including: fishery business; capture fishery business; fishery company; ship owner; State Fisheries Management; small fisherman; fishing; fish transportation; fishing ship and vessel; fishing activity centre; fish processing unit; fishing tools; Indonesian Exclusive Economic Zone; fishing permit; fishery business permit; base port, stopover port, load and unloading port. Amendments deal with administrative and legal proceedings of the above mentioned Regulation concerning vessels, ports and transhipment activities at sea.
