Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 25 articles divided into eleven Chapters, implements Government Regulation No. 6 of 2007 on Forest Management and Preparation of Forest Management Plan and Forest Use, and establishes the Development of Industrial Plantation Forests. Business License for Timber Forest Products Use in an industrial timber estate in forestry production (IUPHHK-HTI, formerly known as HPHT or HPHTI), is a business license granted to use forest products in the form of timber in plantations in production forests through land preparation, seeding, planting, maintenance, harvesting, and marketing. Industrial Plantation Forest Development is intended to increase the productivity of production forests, optimize the utilization of Industrial Plantation Forest space, and improve the competitiveness of production of plantation products. Industrial Plantation Forest Development aims to meet the sustainability of forestry industry raw materials, increase production and diversification of forest products, improve environmental aspects and community empowerment around production forests in plantations. The scope of this Ministerial Regulation includes: a. Area requirement in IUPHHK-HTI; b. IUPHHK-HTI land-use planning; c. Silvicultural system; d. Plant type and cropping pattern; e. Research and technology development and provision of superior seeds; f. Manage Social and Environment.
