Abstract
These Regulations concern the implementation of the Pig Salmonella Control Programme in slaughter plants that have supplied not less than 200 pigs to slaughter in the previous 12 months. The Regulations define duties of owners or persons in charge of an abattoir where pigs are slaughtered in relation with the taking of serological samples, the notification of results of such sampling to authorities, the segregation of pigs and the testing for salmonella in pigs.
