Abstract
These Regulations establish catch reporting requirements for all Irish sea-fishing boats fishing for blue whiting in an area defined by these Regulations.
The master of an Irish sea-fishing vessel shall notify the North West Regional Sea-Fisheries Control Manager of the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority as soon as the quantity of blue whiting taken in the area and retained on board that vessel reaches 500 tonnes and in case a subsequent 500 tonnes is taken.
