Abstract
These Regulations prescribe the circumstances and fees for granting permits authorizing persons to have in their possession unregistered bulls. The Minister may grant a permit to have possession of an unregistered bull to: (a) a research organization; or (b) a bull beef production enterprise; or (c) a person in respect of the use of the bull for breeding in a small herd; or (d) a person in respect of a bull which is entered or eligible to be entered in a herd book maintained by an organization which is not an approved organization (reg. 4). Whenever a person referred to in Regulation 4 (c) of these Regulations applies for a permit, the permit shall not issue until the bull concerned has been inspected by an inspector. (10 regulations)
