Abstract
This Order makes provision for the implementation of the Pig Salmonella Control Programme on farms. It places certain duties on the owner or person in charge of premises where swine are farmed. He or she shall develop and put in place a programme for the control of salmonella in accordance with these Regulations. Special measures shall be taken for swine from herds where there is a prevalence in excess of a level set by the Minister indicated by analysis or otherwise.
