Abstract
This order regulates the use of organic fertilizers and soil improvers to minimize the risk of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSEs).
The Order places restrictions on the having in possession or use of organic fertilizer or soil improver. A person shall not use an organic fertilizer or soil improver unless his or her name is entered in the register of organic fertilizers and soil improvers. The Minister may attach conditions to registration, revoke or vary a condition or attach a new condition.
