European Communities (Access to Information on the Environment) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 133 of 2007).

These Regulations stipulate that defined environmental information held by, or on behalf of, a public authority shall be made available in accordance with these Regulations. They set out the manner in which environmental information is to be made available.
The Regulations also specify the grounds on which public bodies may decline to provide information in certain circumstances and provide for an appeals mechanism.
