Abstract
These Regulations amend the European Communities (Additives, Colours and Sweeteners in Foodstuffs) Regulations 2000 so as to give effect to Directive 2006/52/EC. The amendments concern sweeteners in foodstuffs and in particular require products placed on the market or labelled which do not comply with the provisions of Directive 2006/52/EC relating to sweeteners not to be placed on the market (except stocks until they are exhausted).
