European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Imports from Croatia) Regulations, 2007 (S.I. No. 78 of 2007).

This Order provides anew for restrictions on the importation of live birds and avian products from parts of Croatia affected by outbreaks of avian influenza as described in described in the Annex to Commission 2006/533/EC as amended by Commission Decision 2006/892/EC. The prohibition of importation shall not apply to the import of a meat product consisting of or containing meat of wild feathered-game when the consignment has undergone at least one of the heat treatments specified at B, C or D of Part 4 of Annex II to Commission 2005/432/EC and is accompanied by a veterinary certificate. The Order further defines powers of authorized officers with respect to the enforcement of provisions of this Order and prescribes offences.
