Abstract
These Regulations provide for the control of green bananas imported, exported or placed on the market in Ireland. They provide for the appointment of authorized officers, for necessary powers of such authorized officers and prescribe penalties for offences in relation with the observance of quality standards for green bananas prescribed by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2257/94 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2898/95.
