Abstract
These Regulations lay down compositional and labelling requirements, and general provisions for the sale in Ireland of dietary foods for special medical purposes. Dietary foods for special medical purposes may be placed on the market only if they comply with the provisions laid down in these Regulations and the Directive. Dietary foods for special medical purposes are classified in three categories as specified in regulation 4. These Regulations shall be enforced by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
