Abstract
The purpose of these Regulations is to provide for the submission of monitoring plans on aviation activities to the Environmental Protection Agency for approval. The Agency has been designated as the competent authority for the purposes of EU Directive 2008/101/EC which extends the EU Emissions Trading Scheme to aviation activities.
