Abstract
The purpose of these Regulations is to establish the procedures in Ireland for participation by aircraft operators. The procedures include: designation of the Environmental Protection Agency as the competent authority for the purposes of EU Directive 2008/101/EC; submission of monitoring plans to the Environmental Protection Agency; monitoring, reporting and verification obligations for aircraft operators; allocation of allowances; and other arrangements regarding allowances.
