European Communities (Marketing of Vegetable Propagating and Planting Material, other than Seed) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 (S.I. No. 564 of 2008).

These Regulations prescribe that a reference in Regulations made under the European Communities Act 1972 to Council Directive No. 92/33/EECis construed and has effect as if the reference is a reference to Council Directive No. 2008/72/EC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed (“codified Directive”) or the equivalent provision of the codified Directive. They also specify that nothing in these Regulations purports to create a criminal offence, or to revive criminal proceedings in respect of an event that occurred before the making of these Regulations.
