Abstract
These Regulations prescribe measures to prevent the introduction into and spreading within Ireland of potato cyst nematodes affecting potatoes.
They prohibit the introduction or having in possession of material containing potato cyst nematodes without prior approval of the Minister. Other provisions concern, among other things, demarcation of affected fields, restrictions on planting in demarcated fields and the control of contaminated seed potatoes.
