European Communities (Processed Cereal-Based Foods and Baby Foods for Infants and Young Children) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 433 of 2004).

These Regulations prescribe standards for processed cereal-based foods and baby foods for infants and young children. A person shall not manufacture or place on the market processed cereal-based foods or baby foods unless the requirements of these Regulations are complied with. Agricultural products intended for the production of processed cereal-based foods or baby foods shall be treated in accordance with the requirements of these Regulations. The Regulations prescribe criteria regarding composition and labelling.
