Abstract
These Regulations give effect to Commission Directive 2006/125/EC on processed cereal-based foods and baby foods for infants and young children. They apply to foodstuffs for particular nutritional use fulfilling the particular requirements of infants and young children in good health including processed cereal-based foods and baby foods but not milks intended for young children.
A person shall not manufacture or place on the market processed cereal-based foods or baby foods, or products presented as such, unless that person complies with the provisions laid down in these Regulations and in the Directive.
Rules of these Regulations concern compositional criteria and labelling requirements. Other provisions of these Regulations concern sampling and analysis and other measures of enforcement.
