European Communities (Putting into Circulation of Feed Materials) (Amendment) Regulations, 2001 (S.I. No 170 of 2001).

These Regulations cover the putting into circulation and use of feed materials and gives effect to Directive No 2000/16/EC of the European Parliament and the Council of 10 April, 2000. New requirements for the putting into circulation or use of feed are defined. A person shall not put into circulation and/or use a feed material other than a feed material that :(a) is sound, genuine and of merchantable quality does not represent a danger to animal or human health, and does not represent a danger to the environment.
