European Communities (Welfare of Calves and Pigs) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 307 of 2007).

These Regulations amend the European Communities (Welfare of Calves and Pigs) Regulations 2003 for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Directive No. 2001/88/EC and Commission Directive No. 2001/93/EC. These Regulations replace regulation 6(5) and (6) and prohibit a person to tether or cause or permit another person to tether a sow or gilt and amend point 5 of Part I of the Third Schedule.
