European Union (Common Fisheries Policy) (Faroe Islands) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 432 of 2013).

These Regulations give effect to Article 5.1. and 5.2 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EC) No. 793/2013. They prohibit contravention of those Articles so as to prevent introduction of certain herring, mackerel and certain fishery products from the Faroe Islands, and restrict entry into Irish ports of fishing vessels flying the flag of the Faroe Islands, fishing for such fish. The reason is that Faroe Islands allow non-sustainable fishing of the Atlanto-Scandian herring stock.
