Local Government Act 2001.

This Act is aimed to make further and better provision in relation to local government and, in particular, to consolidate with amendments certain enactments relating generally to local authorities (including different cross-relations with national legislation). This text addresses several issues regarding the general management and related administrative procedural matters in terms of local government powers and responsibilities, including water services/functions and energy supply related sectors.
