Prohibition on Tail-docking (Bovines) (No. 2) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No. 225 of 2014).

These Regulations made by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, continue the prohibition, subject to certain exemptions, the non-medical tail docking of cattle. If a veterinary practitioner, acting under Regulation 3, removes part of the tail of a bovine, he or she shall issue a certificate to the owner of the bovine. Section 36(4)(b) of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 shall apply to this rule (penal provisions).
