Abstract
These Regulations provide for the implementation for Ireland of provisions of Council Regulation (EC) No. 1300/2008 which establishes a multi-annual plan for the fisheries exploiting the stock of herring in international and Community waters of specified ICES zones. A person shall not contravene Article 5 of the Council Regulation in relation to a sea-fishing boat within the exclusive fishery limits of Ireland, or an Irish sea-fishing boat wherever it may be.
