Sea-Fisheries (North Western Waters Landing Obligation) Regulations 2019 (S.I. No. 54 of 2020).

These Regulations, made under sections 3 and 14 of the Sea Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006, implement the Landing Obligation contained in Article 15 of the Common Fisheries Policy Regulation 1380/2013 in respect of certain demersal fisheries in North Western Waters and gives effect to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2239. The master of - (a) an Irish sea-fishing boat wherever it may be, or (b) a sea-fishing boat in the exclusive fishing limits of the State shall comply with Article 15(1), (4), (8), (11) and (12) of the Council Regulation in respect of North Western Waters and shall not discard catches other than in accordance with specified Articles of the Commission Regulation.
