Abstract
These Regulations prohibit from importation and exportation of animal products without a permit. Section 2 prohibits the importation into Israel and exportation from Israel, of animal products except through a port of importation or a port of exportation and under a written permit issued by the Director of the Veterinary Services. Sections 3 to 5 give detailed information about application for a permit. According to section 6 the importer shall apply to instructions about wrappings of impoted products. Pursuant to sections 7 and 8, any export of animal products needs to be submitted for inspection, found fit for exportation and certificated to this effect by the Director. Section 10 prescribes destruction of products that are found not in accordance with these Regulations, at the importer's expenses.
