Abstract
These Regulations make provisions for construction and operation of hatchery farms and are divided into three chapters. Chapter One gives general definitions and Chapter Two establish conditions to apply for a licence (sects. 2-4), as concerns location (sects. 5 and 6), hatchery buildings (sect. 7) and installations (sects. 8). Sections 9 and 10 provide for licence granting and operation of new hatcheries. Sections 11 and 12 make provisions for hatcheries alterations or licence revocation. Sections 13 to 17 establish rules as concerns existing hatcheries. Chapter Three make provisions concerning operation and maintenance of hatcheries, such as eggs incubation and marking (sect. 18), cleanliness (sects. 19 and 20). It also provides for workers behaviour (sect. 21) and daily log (sects. 22-26). Chapter Four makes provisions concerning despatch of chicks, delivery notes, removal, conveyance and sale of chicks (sects. 27-31). Section 32 establishes requirements for health tests and notification of diseases.
