Fruit Board Rules ( Production and Marketing) ( Fruit Marketing and Transportation Settlement) -1975

This Document gives definitions and makes provisions for fruit marketing and transportation procedures in Israel. Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) provides for marketing procedures. A fruit grower must market his fruits to an authorized marketing agent or to the Fruit Board. A grower must inform the Fruit Board about the estimated fruit production quantity regarding all species and variety by him cultivated. A grower shall inform the Fruit Board, within seven days from harvest date, regarding effective cultivated fruit quantities. In case of fruits sold by a grower, while still on the tree, the grower must inform the Fruit Board within seven days from selling date. Section (3) provides for fruit transportation procedures. The transportation of fruit is prohibited unless accompanied by a Delivery Certificate. The transportation of fruit from a marketing agent must be accompanied with a Selling Invoice. Sections (4) to (11) regard Delivery Certificate procedures. Any Delivery Certificate shall be composed of one original and four copies. The fruit board shall provide an authorized marketing agent with Delivery Certificates. A grower shall receive Delivery Certificates from his authorized marketing agent. The Delivery Certificate must be compiled properly in all its parts, and signed by the grower. Any changing of details written in the certificate is prohibited. The grower shall hand a Delivery Certificate to the fruit transporter. Receiving fruit without a Delivery Certificate is prohibited. Section (12) establishes the holding of a register by the marketing agent, for all transitions regarding fruit. Section (13) provides for the returning of surplus certificates by the grower to the agent upon marketing termination period. Section (14) establishes that fruit taken out from a cooling-house shall be accompanied with a delivery certificate. Section (15) and (16) provide for daily and monthly report procedures. Sections (17) to (19) provide with general procedures.
