Abstract
This Regulation, composed of 15 sections, gives definitions and makes provision for the protection of Protected Nature Values in Israel. Section 1 contains definitions. Section 2 prohibits the collection of corals and any action harmful to corals. Similar provisions are contained in Section 3 with respect to invertebrates. Section 4 prohibits fishing and causing harm to fish in a nature reserve unless according to Section 6. Section 5 prohibits the introduction in nature reserves of instruments or devices that might harm a nature value. Section 6 allows fishing with a fishing cane in a distance of 200 meters from the water boundary of the Coral Reserve. Section 7 prohibits the entry of vessels in the Corals Reserve unless according to this regulation. Section 8 prohibits the holding and trading of any coral, invertebrate or fish taken from or caught in the Corals reserve waters. Section 9 prohibits any form of damages caused to the natural development of nature values situated in the reserve. Section 10 prohibits the introduction of any external substance in the reserve. Sections 11 and 12 regard special permits and authorizations for research purposes. Section 13 gives powers to the inspector to issue orders related to this Regulation. Sections 14 and 15 contain general information.
