Abstract
This Document, of Seven Parts, 59 Sections and Two Annexes, gives definitions and makes provisions for the regulation of procedures regarding the production, sorting and marketing of poultry products in Israel. Part One: gives definitions. Part Two: regards the marketing procedures for Eggs and poultry. Section (2) declares that the marketing of all poultry products shall be in the hands of the Poultry Council. Sections (3) to (7) regard authorized marketing agents’ requirements and operational procedures. The council shall authorize some marketing agents to deal with the Eggs and poultry products. Sections (8) to (14) deal with operational relationship between the producer/grower and the marketing agent. Sections (14a) to (18) provide with eggs sorting and marketing procedures. Section (19) to (25) provide with eggs and poultry transportation, packaging, cleaning, marking and registration procedures. Part Three: regards chicken hatcheries and their operational procedures. Part Three (1): gives definitions and establishes conditions for a veterinarian supervision system. Part Four: regards marketing procedures. Part Five: deals with eggs and poultry transportation procedures. Part Six: provides with marking procedures for poultry meat. Part Seven: gives general information. Annex One provides with modules regarding Section (12). Annex Two has been omitted.
