Battery Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

These Rules amend the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022 (principal Rules). In Rule 3, sub-rule (1) of the principal Rules, the definition for Battery in clause (c) is substituted and clause (u) is amended. In Rule 4, sub-rules (1), (2), (4), (5), (6) and (7) are substituted, new sub-rules (2A), (6A) and (16) are added and sub-rule (8) is omitted. Further, Rules 8, 9, 10, 11, 14 and 15 are amended. Schedule II of the principal Rules is also amended.
