Breeding of and Experiments on Animals (Control and Supervision) Amendment Rules, 2006.

A new definition for "experiment" shall be inserted in rule 2. In rule 9 new clauses, regarding the performance of conducting experiments on animals, have been inserted. Clause b and e of rule 10, dealing with the transfer and acquisition of animals for experiments, have been substituted. Rule 12 shall be substituted, and clause a of rule 14, on the power to suspend or revoke registration, has been substituted.
