Abstract
This Act provides for the establishment of the Central Silk Board, for its composition and for its functions.
Functions of the Board shall include: development of the silk industry; devise means for improved methods of mulberry cultivation rearing, and developing and distributing healthy silk-worm seeds; and improving the quality, production, marketing of raw silk.
All acts of the Board shall be subject to the control of the Central Government.
