Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Imposition, Collection and Utilization of Environmental Compensation for Stubble Burning) Rules, 2023.

These Rules are framed in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of sub-section (2) of section 25 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Act, 2021. These Rules give power to the Commission to impose and collect environmental compensation on farmers liable for burning stubble as per the rate mentioned therein. They also provide for the procedure of collection of such compensation imposed, from the farmers.
