E-Waste (Management) Amendment Rules, 2024.

These Rules amend the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 (principal Rules). In Rule 3 of the principal Rules, the definition of dismantler in clause (f) is substituted. New Rule 9A is added after Rule 9 of the principal Rules which allows the central government to relax the period within which any report or return is to be filed under the rules by a manufacture, producer, refurbisher or recycler of electrical and electronic equipment. In Rule 15, after sub-rule (6), sub-rules (7), (8), (9) and (10) are added.
