Abstract
This Act provides for the irrigation and drainage system in the state of Gujarat. The Act contains provisions on the formation of canals, construction and maintenance of field channels and the method of granting compensation to land owners who have incurred sustainable damage due to the building of canals or other water supply by the State Government.
